What is Involved in a Fire & Ice Facial?


The facial involves treating the skin with two professionally formulated masques combined with iS Clinical products specific to the patient’s skincare requirements to optimise . The ‘Fire’ and ‘Ice’ name given to this treatment is because of the sensation these masques have on your skin. But don’t worry, they’re not as extreme as they sound! Both masques offer quite a pleasant and relaxing feeling, with a ‘tingly, warm’ sensation for the first ‘Fire’ masque and a ‘cool’ for the second ‘Ice’ masque.


The first masque is for intensive resurfacing, clinically formulated with sugar cane extract (a source of glycolic acid), citric acid, apple extract, Candela VBeam Laser [Additional Info] (Vitamin A), niacinamide (vitamin (B3) and the potent antioxidants including green tea extract. The second is a rejuvenating masque, which is a soothing, hydrating formulated with sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), aloe vera, green tea extract, liquorice, grape extract and extract. The two-step facial removes the top looser layers of the epidermis, while the superficial trauma caused to the skin stimulates the skin’s healing mechanism to boost collagen production.
